Summer Program
This developmental & educational program is for youth [5th- 12] grades. Youth developmental & educational classes enrich the lives of youth from low-to moderate-income families, while providing them opportunities to use their talents and skills. Classes are free.
Classes in the past have been: African Dance, Computer Graphics, Adventurous Reading, Nutritional Cooking, Fine/Performing Arts, Boxing for Youth, Instructional Chess, Gardening, Hip-Hop Dance, etc.

Show-Me-Series Program-Traveling Experience
The program is an extension of the Student Enrichment Program. Each summer, CWAH offers youth an adventurous, fun, and educational out of state trip; focusing on historical attractions.
The trip is only for those students who have successfully attended and participated in the Student Enrichment Program. Students are invited and accompanied with their parent/guardian to go on the out-of state trip. Past trips have included: Memphis TN, Kansas City KS, Little Rock AR, Springfield IL, Atlanta GA, Chicago IL…

Transitional Housing Program
Responsible Home Ownership
This Transitional Housing Program is designed to assist (specifically low-to moderate income) parent(s) who
rent into responsible home owners.
Parent(s) who have steady employment and good credit, may qualify for this program.
The two year time period is used for tenants to establish a savings account and attend home ownership workshops to better prepare & educate the tenant for responsible home ownership.
Certain rules and qualification are required to participate in this program.

Parent Opportunity Program
This program consists of various educational and developmental classes designed for adults (parents) who are St. Louis city residents; free classes include: Group Talk, GED, Job Readiness, Jewelry Making, Fitness Training, Nutrition, and Computer Training.
The classes in this program are from 8-12 weeks. Classes are free. Classes run through-out the year, except for the summer months.
Parents who continuously attend and participate in this program are offered the supportive basic needs
resources/services; (food pantry, clothing boutique, and warehouse of furniture and household items) a scheduled appointment must be made with the CWAH staff.
