VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
CWAH appreciates the great work and effort from all of its:
volunteers, interns, and practicum students.
Community Women Against Hardship has Volunteers for
different task and events:
- Organizing and sorting donated items in the: Clothing Boutique, Food Pantry, Warehouse, or Library
- Teaching or instructing an educational/developmental class for the Summer Student Enrichment Program
- Assisting with the CWAH annual fundraising events: Walk, Basketball Invitational, Jazz Brunch, Gala/Concert, People Against Poverty Campaign
- Instructing an educational, developmental, or informational workshop for Adults
- Light maintenance in certain areas of the facility
Community Women Against Hardship has some Intern or Practicum Student opportunities for college students interested in the Human Services field:
These student opportunities are unpaid for college credit. Restrictions may apply regarding students major or concentration and level of study.
Human Services field: Social Work, Couseling, Outreach Worker, Psychology, Case Management, Life Skills Counselor, Client Advocate, Community Suppoort Worker, Youth Worker, etc.
